Sustainability

Sustainable business is a prerequisite for long-term profitable growth. First Class Brands is aware of our social responsibility. Our goal is to be able to meet the requirements and wishes of all stakeholders and thereby conduct a sustainable business in terms of economic, social and environmental aspects. Agenda 2030 contains 17 goals where First Class Brands has the opportunity to influence, among other things, the following:

GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

Our goal is to contribute to a positive health trend and offer improved quality of life through products that treat and/or support the various functions of the body. Safe and high-quality products are guaranteed through long-term work according to international standards and regulations.

GOOD EDUCATION FOR ALL

Our sister company Vitalkost is a proud sponsor of the educational project Zimlat for life. The project is run outside Mombasa
and has since its inception in 1997 provided thousands of poor children with schooling, education and thus good conditions for an
independent life.

EQUALITY

We work for an equal and equal organization with
equal opportunities regardless of age, gender and sexual orientation.
Salary survey shows that there is no salary discrimination
where men and women hold similar roles.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY FOR ALL

We only use electricity from renewable sources, including from the
solar panels installed on the roof of our production facility. In 2021, 244,190 kWh were produced, of which
we consumed 154,740 kWh, corresponding to 31
percent of the year's total electricity consumption.

DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

Our people are our most important asset for success. Several measures are taken to create a working environment where our employees feel good, physically, mentally and socially.

SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Our strategy is based on developing unique products based on innovative ingredients to advance our priority health areas or health areas or to address new niche areas.

SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

We continuously monitor our environmental impact and work
actively on continuous improvement to minimize negative
impacts on human health and the environment. This includes
responsible management of chemicals and waste.

ECOSYSTEMS AND BIODIVERSITY

An important part of our work is to choose sustainably produced
ingredients for our products. For example, we take active responsibility
for our use of palm oil through our membership of The
Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

PEACEFUL AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES

Our Code of Conduct contains internationally recognized requirements
regarding human rights, labour rights and environmental protection.
All our suppliers of products and services must comply with the
Code of Conduct.
